The 13th Asia-Pacific Laser Symposium (APLS) 2025 in Jeju island, Republic of Korea
Had an amazing time at APLS 2025 with my lab friends and another lab collegues! I presented my ongoing work on mode-locking behavior in waveguide lasers. Jeju is always beautiful - I've been there a few times before, but I never get tired of the scenery in Seogwipo.
Big news: I won the Best Poster Presentation Award! Still can't believe it - really honored and grateful for this recognition.
The 36th annual meeting and winter conference of Optical Society of Korea (OSK), Busan, Republic of Korea
Went to Busan with my lab mates for the OSK winter conference. I presented my research on passive Q-switched operation in waveguide lasers. Busan is such a nice city, and the conference was really well organized.
Pacific Rim Conference on Lasers and Electro Optics (CLEO-PR) in Incheon, Republic of Korea
Another great conference experience in Incheon with the lab team. I presented my current research and had some really good discussions with other researchers.
The best part is that I got to meet up with some amazing friends I made at the APLS conference in Hakodate! It's always so nice to reconnect with people from the international community.
Advanced Lasers and Their Applications (ALTA) in Jeju island, Republic of Korea
Honestly, one of the most beautiful places in Korea! I attended ALTA with my lab colleagues and presented my research. Jeju Island never fails to impress, and the conference featured some fascinating presentations.
The 35th annual meeting and winter conference of Optical Society of Korea (OSK) in Suwon, Republic of Korea
Presented my latest laser research at the OSK conference in Suwon with my lab friends. Had some good feedback on my work.
Oops - completely forgot to take a photo of my presentation!
This was a big one for me - my first international conference! I gave an oral presentation, which was both nerve-wracking and exciting.
The highlight was definitely meeting so many wonderful people from all over the world. Made some great friends and had such a good time hanging out with everyone. Already looking forward to seeing them again at future conferences!
Huge thanks to my lab friends and professor for making all these experiences possible!
