Ultrafast solid-state lasers with novel materials: femtosecond-laser-inscribed waveguide laser, bulk solid-state laser
Numerical analysis of optical soliton pulse formation and propagation: Nonlinear Schrödinger equation, Haus master equation
Nonlinear optics: Quasi-phase-matching in ferroelectric crystal (Periodically poled lithium niobate etc.), Quadratic/cubic nonlinear optics, Optical parametric amplifier/oscillator using ns pulsed laser.
